Financial assistance
A limited number of scholarships and financial awards are available to eligible applicants. We encourage all students to apply — simply indicate your interest in the application form.
A partial fee reduction available to students who demonstrate financial need or merit. Every application is individually assessed by our admissions committee.
Awarded at the discretion of the JLI President to students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership, or commitment to their field of study.
Our most significant award, recognising students whose research has been published in a peer-reviewed journal of good standing within one year of applying to JLI.
How to apply for a scholarship: Scholarships are awarded on a competitive and limited basis. To be considered, simply complete the scholarship section within the application form when you apply. There is no separate application required. Questions? Email us at admissions@jliedu.ch.

Make sure you have selected the right program and the right intake. Understand the fees applicable to you, the mode of learning or any other program specifics. Incomplete applications or unclear document scans are the most common causes of delays or rejection. Ensure your personal statement clearly explains your career goals and suitability for the program you selected.

All our programs are conducted via ONLINE mode only. There is no option for face-to-face studies. You may however be invited for a graduation ceremony that is conducted towards the end of each year at one of our locations.
Yes, we offer three scholarships — a 25% Financial Assistance Scholarship, a 25% President's Scholarship, and a 50% Publication Award for students with published research. All are competitive and limited. Simply indicate your interest in the scholarship section of the application form. See the Scholarships section for full details.
The online application form typically takes 15–20 minutes to complete. Once submitted, you can expect a decision within 3 working days, provided all required documents have been uploaded clearly.
Yes. You may save your progress at any point and return to it before the intake deadline. We recommend submitting as early as possible, as places are offered on a rolling basis.

English proficiency results (IELTS or TOEFL) may be required for some programs. If your prior education was conducted in English, you may be exempt. Check the specific requirements for your chosen program on our website.
You will be notified whether we need any further information from you. If your admission is successful you will receive the admission offer documents and fee invoice. Once payment is completed, our team will issue you an admission confirmation letter and you are all set to start from your chosen start date.
